Meta Analysis the Effects of Maternal Education, Residence, and Birth Delivery Place, on Exclusive Breastfeeding

Background: Health and intelligence are the main foundation for creating quality Human Resources (HR). Exclusive breastfeeding is one of best steps to improve human resources from an early age, in first six months a baby's life. The success exclusive due several factors including relatively low level education, lack utilization health facility services, increased marketing formula milk urban areas. This study aims analyze effect mother's geographic location residence, place delivery on breastfeeding. Subjects Method: researcher uses systematic review meta-analysis research, by formulating researcher's assessment PICO as follows. Population: Breastfeeding mothers. Intervention: basic rural areas, services. Comparison: Higher urban, without Outcome: articles were obtained PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, MDPI, Scopus databases. search keywords article “maternal education” AND “residence” “delivery place” “exclusive breastfeeding” cross-sectional. inclusion criterias full-text, cross-sectional study, reported adjusted odds ratio (aOR). Data analyzed Review Manager application (RevMan 5.3). Results: 20 studies involving 107,952 lactating mothers Asia, Europe, Africa selected meta-analysis. showed that with high education 1.27 times more likely exclusively breastfeed than (aOR= 1.27; 95% CI=1.01 1.59; p= 0.040).
